The Adamantine Forge is one of the most unique locations in all of Baldur’s Gate 3. Figuring out where to find the forge and then going through the steps to turn it on is an adrenaline rush that is only matched by the ensuing fight with the Grym. After this fight concludes, you are left with whatever you crafted in the Adamantine Forge as well as the mold you used. However, with other molds available around the forge, many players are wondering if they can use the forge again after using it once.

I, for one, was not sure if I was going to be able to use the forge again. After all, the Grym’s carcass is resting on the forge platform and I was all out of Mithral Ore. Luckily, I eventually found the answer to this question. Below, you can see if it’s possible to use the Adamantine Forge more than once in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Fortunately, the answer is yes, you can use the Adamantine Forge more than once. This means you can take another one of your molds, insert it into the machine, and it will pop out another rare weapon or armor piece for you to use. The Grym will also not make a reappearance, so the crafting process won’t be nearly as stressful the second time around.

The only requirement to using the forge more than once is you need another piece of Mithral Ore. I was able to find two ore deposits in the forge area, and with my second piece, I used the forge again to make Scale Mail Armor. Here are the two known locations of Mithral Ore at the forge:

With your second piece of Mithral Ore, you can follow the same steps as you did before to get the forge to work. You insert the ore and the mold you want to use, use the forge lever to get the platform to descend, use the lava lever to get the forge burning, and finally use the forge lever once more. Once the lava has run out, you can go over to grab your new gear that’s sitting on top of the mold platform. If you press the mold ejection lever, you will see your mold pop out for you to grab.

As far as I can tell, there are only two Mithral Ore locations in Baldur’s Gate 3, so you will only get to use the Adamantine Forge two times.
